What is right?
What should you eat?
Someone has said that they are not eating gluten and they are feeling better,
another friend swears by no refined sugar.
What is right for you?
Are these diets going to help you?
There are so many diets out there that it can get confusing.

People often trial different diets hoping that they will lose unwanted kilos or feel better.

For every 5 people who go on a diet, 4 will put the weight lost back on (and potentially even more).

These statistics highlight the confusion and poor messages being shared about eating,  which can lead to poor eating cycles.

It is worth taking some time to check what a balanced diet means for you, taking into account your exercise levels, metabolic rate, age and other factors. Obtaining the weight and health you want to be is not a fad diet.  You can lose weight and feel good!
But how to lose weight and feel good?
It is worth taking some time to firstly investigate what you are currently eating and to understand what your body needs.

Secondly, if you understand what needs to happen but following this is difficult - then uncovering your current beliefs on eating is next.  Often the subconscious mind holds onto beliefs and feeding patterns that are preventing us from making the changes we want.
If you are interested to find out more about your diet and to ask questions specific to your needs, then a dietitian consult may be useful for you to get credible up-to-date information,  in areas such as;
  • weight loss,
  • child feeding,
  • pregnancy,
  • diabetes
  • and more.
